Ever conscious of the need to protect the environment and economize natural resources, the PEOPLECERT Group has adopted and implemented a comprehensive an Environmental Management System, awarded the ISO 14001 standard. This system estimates the annual direct or indirect impact of the company's operation on the environment, taking all its activities and services into consideration.

In the context of this Environmental Management System, the Group has proceeded with a series of actions for saving electricity, recycling paper, reducing the use of paper, recycling ink cartridges and toner cartridges, recycling solid waste (such as mobile phone batteries, computers and printers). Internal recycling produces approximately four tons of paper per annum and a huge volume of batteries.

Digital Pollution Management
The Group has adopted the EU Directive (July 2002) and undertakes initiatives for informing and mobilizing its collaborators about digital pollution, the increase of which has taken on epidemic dimensions.

It is worth noting that approximately 50% of the electronic messages circulating worldwide are considered “digital waste”.
