PEOPLECERT Group is a rapidly growing Personnel Certification Body with dynamic presence in the global market. It is managing a portfolio of 500 certification schemes and has active presence in Greece, Turkey, Portugal, Albania, China and soon in Brazil, Bulgaria and FYROM. PEOPLECERT represents prestigious organisations such as ECDL Foundation and City & Guilds Organisation and ensures the integrity and the reliability of the examinations procedure by fully meeting the specifications of standards ISO17024, ISO9001, ISO10002, ISO14001 and ISO27001.

Our certification schemes range from IT and Vocational to Language and Business Skills and are endorsed by several governmental and private organisations around the world. We are committed in providing top-quality products and services and exceeding the expectations of our partners. Our workforce consists of 150 highly qualified employees and 1000 long-term partners, offering supreme services to more than 1600 organisations. We offer have performed to date more than 2.000.000 examinations.

Since the year 2000, the quality of services and the innovative solutions it offers have changed the way citizens view certifications, while the purely Greek-based know-how it has developed is now exported to four countries and three more are in the pipeline.

• PEOPLECERT Group supported the research «RCI: Recruitment Confidence Index» which was conducted  by the  Applied Research and Innovation department of ALBA Graduate Business School for the 1st semester of 2011.

2010

• PEOPLECERT Group supported the research «RCI: Recruitment Confidence Index» which was conducted  by the  Applied Research and Innovation department of ALBA Graduate Business School for the 1st and 2nd semester of 2010.
• PEOPLECERT Group supported the research «IT Skills: The Business Gain» which was conducted  by the  Applied Research and Innovation department of ALBA Graduate Business School.
• PEOPLECERT becomes an APM Group certified ITIL® Examination Institute. The APM Group's role as OGC's official accreditor for the ITIL Qualification scheme allows it to license Examination Institutes to administer ITIL qualification and accreditation activities.
• We become Partner of CEEL-ECLT, a non-profit association that has provided quality language and communication training and certification since 1972.

2009

• ECDL Hellas supported the research «RCI: Recruitment Confidence Index» which was conducted  by the  Applied Research and Innovation department of ALBA Graduate Business School for the 1st and 2nd semester of 2009.
• The new structure of certification programs and the renaming of the Group to PEOPLECERT are announced.
• The official release of the City & Guilds Business Skills programmes that includes Business Studies, Office Procedures and Customer Service is announced.
• The Annual World Congress of the ECDL Foundation is held in Greece
• The EUCIP Professional certification programs of the ECDL Foundation will be offered by Peoplecert Group in the Greek market.
• Peoplecert Group receives the global ACCESS IT Award for its CSR Program for the visually impaired.
• The availability of Syllabus 5.0 is announced.
• The GISPro programme for certifying vocational skills is announced.
• European Commission President José Manuel Barroso is presented with the 9 million^th ECDL Skills Card by the ECDL Foundation and PEOPLECERT Group President A. Byron Nicolaides.
• The ECDL Expert in Progress certification programme is officially announced.
• The Information Security Management System is awarded the international ISO 27001 standard.

2008

• ECDL Hellas supported the research «RCI: Recruitment Confidence Index» which was conducted  by the  Applied Research and Innovation department of ALBA Graduate Business School for the 1st and 2nd semester of 2008.
• The Committed to Excellence distinction is received from the European Foundation of Quality Management (EFQM).
• We become member of HellasCert, the Hellenic Association of Accredited Certification and Inspection Bodies.
• The first City & Guilds English language exams are held in Greece.
• The new management and exam systems ELiSS, EXAM Manager 5.0 and ECDL ATES 5.0 are announced.
• The collaboration with Microsoft Hellas commences for the creation of Unlimited Potential Centres throughout Greece in order to provide socially vulnerable groups with computer technology training and certification.
• The first exams in China (Dalian) are a huge success.
• The Education Ministries of Turkey, China and Portugal, where we have subsidiary companies, recognize the ECDL certification programmes.

2007

• ECDL Hellas supported the research «RCI: Recruitment Confidence Index» which was conducted  by the  Applied Research and Innovation department of ALBA Graduate Business School for the 1st and 2nd semester of 2007.
• ICDL China, our subsidiary in China, is founded and inaugurated by Greek Minister of Foreign Affairs Dora Bacogianni.
• The Environmental Management System is awarded the ISO 14001 standard.
• The collaboration of the ECDL Hellas Group with the internationally established City & Guilds organization is officially announced.
• ASEP (Supreme Council for Civil Personnel Selection) recognizes the City & Guilds ESOL certificates as proof of foreign language knowledge in competitions for hiring civil servants.
• The strategic collaboration with CISCO Networking Academies is announced.
• The ECDL IT Administrator and ECDL Certified Training Professional certification programmes are launched.
• The comprehensive For Kids Educational and Assessment Programme is launched for primary school pupils.

2006

• We are the first licensing body whose computer skills certificates are recognized by the Greek Ministry of Education (Organisation for Vocational Education and Training – OEEK) as a mandatory prerequisite for employment in the Greek public sector.
• We become member of the International Personnel Certification Association (IPC)
• The ECDL Foundation presents us with the Best Public Relations Award.
• The Complaints Management and Customer Satisfaction System is awarded the ISO 10002 standard.

2005

• The Hellenic Accreditation System (E.SY.D) certifies us as a Personnel Certification Body according to the requirements of the ISO 17024 standard.
• President and Director-General of the group A. Byron Nicolaides is elected Vice-President of the Council of European Informatics Societies (CEPIS).
• Our Network of Partners exceeds 1000 Exam Centres in the whole of Greece.

2004

• The ECDL Expert programme for certifying advanced IT skills and the ECDL e-kids programme are launched.
• The ECDL Equalskills certification programme is launched.
• We cooperate with the Municipality of Athens as part of the Corporate Social Responsibility programme by providing free ECDL Equalskills to senior citizens registered in the Municipality.

2003

• Lloyds Register awards us the ISO 9001 standard for its Quality Control System.

2002

• The Bank of Cyprus and the Multirama Electronics adopt the ECDL standards to certify their personnel’s level of knowledge. 
• The University of the Aegean and The Foundation for Research & Technology - Hellas (ITE) become ECDL Exam Centres.
• The ECDL Start certification programme is launched.
• The ECDL CAD certification programme is launched.

2001

• ECDL Hellas invests in technology and presents Automated Testing Evaluation System (ATES). 
• The first automated tests are held.

2000

• ECDL Hellas is founded and the ECDL Programme is officially announced.
• The ECDL international conference is held in Athens.
