Levels
IVQ Diplomas
IVQ Diplomas offer potential candidates the knowledge and expertise they need to work as hair stylists, while also providing insight on the basic functions of a hair salon. Recommended number of training hours: 450-500 hours.
IVQ Advanced Diplomas
Advanced Diplomas provide those with experience and knowledge of hairdressing with the opportunity to develop into senior stylists and oversee stylists or head stylist teams. Recommended number of training hours: 450-500 hours.
International Award in Hairdressing Salon Reception
This is a qualification programme that requires fewer hours of training, targeting those wishing to be employed as hairdressing salon receptionists. Recommended number of training hours: 150 hours.
International Advanced Awards
This programme offers supplementary knowledge and skills to stylists who wish to advance their knowledge in specific areas of hairdressing. Recommended number of training hours: 200 hours.
